07 CVT SHOT 125K...any techs out there

Seen post were someone said they put a 2010 Cvt in 07 2.5s non hybrid....
Transmissions/CVT for 07 priced 650+
Understand once installed needs to be reprogrammed or will quickly find its way out again.
Contacted manufacturer and were over the limit at 125k
Seen 2010's more reasonable but show on car-parts.com not be a match
Anyone caring to share some wisdom.

Interchangeable CVT transmissions?

tried to make contact but were unable
looks like they successfully put a 2010 in a 2008
2.5 Fed non hybrid
called a local dealer and they said
not the same
but trying to give Forum more options if they exist?

Be wary of buying a used CVT as there's an excellent chance it will be problematic as well. You will need to cross reference parts numbers, and/or consult with a good service department to determine the interchangeability of CVTs.

However, you're better off buying a remanufactured CVT from Nissan that comes with a 12 month / 12k mile warranty.
