I've searched the archives and can only find one coupe with a backup camera and it's a skyline. Anyone out there have a backup camera on a US spec coupe? I back into my parking space at work up to a concrete light pole every day and am afraid I'll zone out one day... I have nav, so I'm wondering if I could hook a license plate camera up to the nav screen. Any ideas?

For the 07s the backup camera is in the chrome bar where the button to open the trunk is. Adding one would probably be very expensive.

Something like this (I googled - driver back up warning car - you can probably get more creative).

If you aimed it to the area that the pole was in it might be enough to remind you each day to check your mirror. The one for the car is only $219.00, which is much less than 1 bump would be.

Sorry for the delay in checking responses. Just too busy with three jobs and remodel. Thanks for the link. That might work, just looking for something less invasive of the rear of the car. thought a license plate camera would be good. Can't give up my parking space. I work at a high school and that space is in plain sight of a security camera. I get to work an hour early just to be sure I get that space. Nothing too good for the G!
