If you have overheated a set of rotors at only 18k I would recommend going aftermarket with them. Stillen has pretty good ones from what I have seen and Brembo is always reliable. I have seen the 07 sedans make it well past 30K with original equipment.

Had some pretty hard stops?

ya stillen does but they arent for the X, i was def thinking about those. hard stops possibly its me driving like a that got me there. haha.

so would you recommend changing the pads will that do anything or is just the rotors that are done. because it seems like i still have enough pad left on there and the rotors arent warped, but the brake light does come on once in a while, meaning its low.

ps. mods can you move this to the right forum, idn if it was moved or i just posted wrong to the brake section.

LoL I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. I fixed it.

I know from a quick Google on 07 Gx pads and rotors there are many options out there. There are many performance sets you may want to think of since you are driving your car in a more spirited manner than the OE brakes were designed for. Ill check our sponsors and see if any of them have offer an upgrade for you.

As for the wear on the pads. I do not know what you have left but if the brake light is coming on for low fluid than it's probably a safe bet that your pads are indeed worn out.
