07 black g35 coupe

just got my g35 last sunday and did my first car wash yesterday and notice alot of swirl marks. is this normal for a new car? anybody out there with black g35 has the same problem? i hope i did'nt messed it up by washing my car. any replies would be great.

That is pretty much normal and you have to take care of them. My G is aoutr 6 months old(young). I had some I did not put the clear bra on it the hood only on the bumper I think that was a mistake. It looks nice but I have to keep playing with it.

Z, your car looks absolutly beautiful. I dream about getting my Black dually to shine like that. of course my truck is so huge it takes me an hour just to wash it.What wax or polish r u using? I want my G to shine like that...

I hear you. I wash my car usually 2x a week. It looks great after for about 2days and dirty again. But if I had a chance to pick another sedan I still would go with the black. I think it looks great and when the job done all clean that's what you see on the pics.

Weiboy don't feel bad about it. that's the way it goes. lots of work but at the end the she shines like not many other colour.

I use mother's product once a month 1 detail it.And believe it or not I use 2 bath towels 1 to semi dry it and 1 to finish it nicely when I wash it. It works for me. It takes 10-15 minutes a wash with drying. A month ago I went to wash my car I was almost done when a guy came up to me asked how am I doing it so quick. I showed him on his car he has a 06 maxima(black) at the end he told me his car never looked that good since he bought it. 2 weeks later I saw him again he showed me proudly the towels from his trunk. He smiled and told me it realy works.

I know that feeling. I had that feeling with my first black car back years ago.
