Anyone notice that in stop and go traffic or in busy downtown where its pretty much go a bit and stop abit not crawling tho.. that the car doest like to stay in 1st or 2nd gear.... and its very jumpy....if you try to move off slow...you can hear it sorta holding on to one... but yearning to go to 2.. and once it does go to 2 you sorta have to stop or slow down...

maybe I am not descrining it well, but maybe some people can post their observations with driving this car in heavyish traffic.

YES!

It kind of jumps into second gear. You can control gear selection with throttle.... sometimes I force a 2nd upshift early on a full throttle run by lifting slightly on the gas pedal.

Personally I LOVE the 07+ AT, wish the torque converter stalled at 2,800 rpm but for a stock transmission the shifts are quick and firm.

icic ok, so the jerkyness in slow traffic is characteristic of this car... LOL ok guess I have to live with it... would it be better to drive in manual mode in slow traffic and hold on to 1st 2nd gears? and if so I probably need to know when to shift PROPERLY.

continue chiming in people... appreciated. !!!!

you could just leave the car in manual mode 2nd up until about 75 mph

How long have you had your G?? I bought mine in July last year and have gotten used to the pedals to the point where I can drive smoothly if I want.

Got mine in Dec, well so far smooth means slow LOL and this car goes fast quick so theres always jerkyness.. I will try various methods over the weekend to see how it goes.. the problem only presents itself in heavy traffic.

Maybe also due to me not grounding my ECU wire properly...and/or doing a proper ECU reset followed by some WOT runs like recommended thing is weather has been bad not much opportunity to do fast runs.
