07 Altima, 3 months services???

On my new 07 altima, i have recived a letter from nissan that i need to go for 3 months services. Is that necessay????? if yes, so do i must have to goto the dealer or anyone can do it. Cuz i know that dealer charged u alot of money for that kind of services or should i just wait for couple of more months??

yes its very necessary to get a your oil changed atleast every three months to 3000 miles. and no you dont have to do it at the dealership. but if you just got you car you should have a 1 year of free service with the dealership, so first find out if you do have a free year. but if you dont just take it so someone else, but in most cases you might pay close to what you would pay at the dealership. i drive a 2003 2.5s and i pay 26-32$ every 3 months at non-dealership places and the few times i did go to the dealersip i paid around 35$ but they take the longest too, and thats why i dont go to dealersips anymore. good luck.

i take mine back to the dealer every 3 months just to keep a excellent service record. they change my oil and filter and its about $20 for me. well worth it.

but yea id do it, because good service records are good to have when you go to trade in/re-sell
