I have a 07 altima 2.5 that has a a whining noise when getting above 2000 rpms mostly when going up hills. It does not have any power loss just making the noise. The exhaust manifold was just replaced due to a crack which helped the sounds but still making this slight whine. Sounds like it is coming from the Alternator area but not sure. Car has 102k on it and the transmission was replaced at around 50 under warranty. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated

i had that same issue in the past. its your transmission. i took it to nissan when my car was still under warranty. they replaced it. however i was actually driving the car with that same noise for well over 2 yrs before fixing it.
