'07 Altima 2.5 S will not accelerate, please help!

I was driving down the highway and I felt my car jerk. As I continued down the highway, my car started slowing down and eventually did not want to move anymore. I tried to accelerate but it wouldn't move or even go in reverse. The car just idles and the RPM's don't move. When I turned it off and back on, I press the accelerator and it revs and my RPM's go up. However, when I put it in drive or reverse, it starts moving very slowly and eventually will stop moving. It starts to make a weird sound when moving slowly. 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. What is wrong with this? I feel that it may be an electrical problem. I unplugged the Mass Air sensor and the throttle body plugs, and plugged them back in and nothing happened. Please help!
