07-09 Spec V brake question

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

What are the specs on the stock brakes for this generation of sentra spec v's? Are the calipers single or dual-piston? The rotors are brembo blanks?

What are some good replacement rotors/pads for these? I had Rotora slotted rotors and ceramic pads on my previous Acura 3.2CL Type-S and they were excellent. Any recommendations?

They are single piston. The same front setup as the Altima's.

There is a huge option for brake and rotor combos, I suggest http://www.topbrakes.com.

For those that have upgraded rotors/pads, what combo do you have luck with?

Has anyone done a 13" big brake kit upgrade? What are our options? I'm curious to see if there are any dual-piston or 4-piston caliper upgrades available for our cars.

Why don't you try Google.com and do some work.

Rotora makes a 2, and 4 piston BBK for about $2000. There is no reason for a BBK on our cars unless for show.

High Performance Brake System - METALLIC BLUE Calipers with Cross-Drilled & Slotted Rotorsincluding Spec V - Engine: 2.5L - Chassis: B16UFRONT - Caliper: 4 Piston - Rotor Size: 330mm x 30mm - Rotor Type: 2-PIECE - Wheel Clearance: (see image 2) A-30mm B-187mm C-113mm - SPECIAL ORDER ONLY (Lead time: 60-90 days)Mfg# RBK249.01-MC, NOPI# 064+5282Made of billet aluminum alloy and CNC-machined to ensure the highest quality, Rotora's High Performance Brake Systems, available in 6-Piston, 4-Piston & 2-Piston Calipers, enable superior brake modulation while improving overall pedal feel to ensure equal distribution of weight transfer when braking. To achieve this proportional front-to-rear brake bias, Rotora's opposing piston calipers are fine tuned by increasing the clamp load to the optimal level while utilizng the stock master cylinder to retain overall front-to-rear brake bias. Rotora's full big brake system design delivers excellent initial bit, exceptional modulation and consistent pedal feel for street and track use applications. All systems are ABS compatible, direct bolt on and include DOT-compliant steel braided brake lines and carbon steel (SC45) mounting brackets and hardware with minimal modifications required. COMPONENTS/FEATURES: •Rotora billet aluminum alloy racing calipers with sequentially-sized piston bore sizes engineered to each specific vehicle. •Rotora billet aluminum hat with “floating” disc assembly to reduce heat-related stress and unsprung weight. •Rotora two-piece heat-treated directional vane disc system to improve airflow/cooling under severe braking. Slotted or drilled & slotted oversize 15” or 16” discs to ensure equal heat dissipation and increase thermal capacity while relieving the disc and brake pad surface free of excess debris. •Rotora ceramic-formulated brake pads designed for extreme street and off-road applications with high co-efficient of friction and high temperature fade resistance. •Rotora DOT-compliant stainless steel braided brake lines to improve stiffer pedal feel and prevent brake hose expansion. •Rotora SC45 carbon steel mounting brackets and hardware. - Additional Caliper Colors are available.
