Does anyone know if the 2 guages in the SE-R model fit and works on a 2.0s model? Does the wiring exist in the 2.0s for these gauges?

Take a look to see whether the dash harnesses have the same part #.

Just curious, did you ever install them on the the 2.0 Sentra? Does it work without the wires or it doesn't even light up?

Hey DarkAquarius, did you ever add those two gauges for the oil and g-force? Did they work at all?

Sorry about not responding earlier.. to answer your question, I have not done any looking into since I last posted under this title. I have the CVT, so I really dont know if I should even bother... I rather wait until I get a better car. Dont like the CVT that much.

So I ended getting the SE-R Oil & G-Force Guages from eBay. Now the question is, where do I get the wires and how do I hook them up on a regular 2.0 SL????

Off topic but why don't you like the CVT?

So I picked up the SE-R Gauges with pictures below. The only thing that stands in my way from installing it on my SL is that the stupid seller cut the wires rather than unplugging it from the stereo..... smart move dude.... So now I need to find the assembly connector. (not sure if I'll need to get sensors or whatnot but I at least want it to power on) Anyone got suggestions where to look? I'm going to contact courtesyparts, abcnissanparts, and nissanpartsconnection. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Also, not sure if anyone asked this before but does anyone know how to take top plastic part off from the stereo?? I'm trying to go through the FSM manual in RED_DET's sig. If anyone knows the exact page number, that'll be helpful too. Thanks!

Ok so on page 14, it states the following: ==============Removal1. Remove the shifter knob. [Refer to CVT-189, "Selector Lever Knob Removal and Installation" (CVT)]2. Remove the CVT finisher.3. Remove the controller and controller finisher, disconnect the controller finisher connectors.4. Remove the cluster lid C upper mask (base).==============So what it is telling me... I need to remove the shifter knob in order to get to cluster C??? man... that seems soooo much work. I'm afraid to f^% up the shifter knob..... Does anyone have a guide w/ some pics? Thanks.

If there are any 07/08/09 SE-R and Spec V owners, I got a big favor to ask. If you can remove the audio unit, could you check to see where these SE-R Oil & G-Force Meter gauges are connected too? Are they hooked up to the audio unit or somewhere else? Are both ends of the wires 12 pins and have wires in the following order:

Dark Blue, Pink Yellow Green Red, Light BlueGrey, Pink Black, Black, Red, Purple

Big Thanks!

This may or may not help you, or it may pi$$ you off, but I have a 2006 Altima SL, and I wanted to install the centre gauge cluster from an Altima SE-R into my car. I really like the look of the package. After much investigating, I abandoned the idea. First of all, it turns out that the harness is not there, so I would have had to find a harness and rewire the dash. Major job.Secondly, the ECU is not set up to send the proper information to the gauges. It is set up to activate the warning lights only.I would have had to either reprogram the ECU, or replace it entirely. It wasn't worth the effort.I'm saying all this to warn you that the same situation may exist with the Sentra.I suspect the base Sentra is not set up to accept the gauge cluster.Let us know what you find, and good luck.

Not yet. First I need to get a dash replacement which is about $60 at abcnissanwholesale.com but before I do that order that, Buzzman might be right that our cars' ECU & harness might not be available for the gauges to work. So I'll meet with the service people at the dealer to see if they have any idea first. I might need to get aftermarket sensors to wire them up to these OEM SE-R gauges.

If you are a 2007,'08,'09 SE-R or Spec V owner would be kind enough to take out your audio unit and take a picture of where the gauges are hooked up to? That would be splendid and much appreciated! I am wondering if it's just attached to the audio unit or trip computer or if it's hooked up to something else.

By the way, does anyone have a visual guide of how to remove the audio unit? Thanks!
