Tried to find instructions for replacing my left tail light assembly. I dropped a ladder on it and just ordered a replacement from Go Parts.

Has anyone done a replacement and can you help a newbie? Thanks

Ouch. Sorry to hear that.

We always try to help newbies as much as we can. NICO's forte.

My suggestion (since I have not done what you need to do): we have the M Service Manuals on line - they should help. Look at the link in my sig.

I think that is the one file that may be messed up in that location . Send me an e-mail if you can handle a large file in e-mail and I will send it along ...

Hope this isn't a double post.

Tried to say thanks again for providing the sections of the manual i was not able to down load. I saved at least a couple of hundred dollars in doing it myself and that was with an OEM part.

It wasn't difficult although the plastic clip re-install had a little trick to it.

Glad to see it worked out!

Good work getting it all done and saving money too.
