ok, so I recently traded in my G35 for a brand new pathfinder, but it is just the base S model. as most of you know it doesn't have d!ck for accessories, but they were nice enough to include those big stupid gray knobs in place of the fog lights on the SEs and up. so my question to all you pathfinder-ites is do any of you know where I can get either OEM or aftermarket foglights to replace those gray knobs or am I SOL? I would have gotten an SE if I could have afforded it, but since this one is gonna be with me for the next few years I'd like to make it mine. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey adam

Glad you joined the pathy family!

I just looked on Joes website and they are $80ish a piece.... $160 total, includes everything you need I think (there might be a bracket, id look for you but i dont have the 2006 pathy in my parts book)... regardless, OEM should be golden for under 200!!

The knobs just pop out. you install the lights, you will also need to swap out the headlight switch as the fog lamp control switch is also incorperated into the switch. You will need to make sure you are prewired first though. look for a 2 wire connector taped off to the harness on both sides near the pop out covers. in that area you should find a harness, once you find the harness just follow it up and down till you find the connectors. If they are there it shouldnt be much more then the lights, switch and maybe a relay in the relay box and you have a factory fog lamp set up.

Note: if you find the car is prewired the lamps may not illuminate. if you find this the case you will need to take your vehicle to the dealer and have them reconfigure your BCM for fog lamps. It takes no more then 10mins to do this. They may charge you a small fee for consult use to do it.
