06 Murano rear hatch

My rear hatch does not lock into place because the hoop that catches the lock is no longer bolted down. I do not know how to access this space to put on nuts to bolt this piece down. Any info would be apreciated

I would think there's just a trim piece around it, no?
Have you checked the factory service manual?
