06 m45 update to 08 navi live traffic unit?

Has anyone tried to update there 06-07 m45 or m35 navigation to an 2008 since 08's have the live traffic navigation are the radios the same or are there any extra parts the 08's have that the 06 and 07 navi units don't have any help would be appreciated

The 08 and 09 Ms have a hard drive system that must be updated by the dealer. Your M has a DVD disc accessed through the glove box. I don't know if that can be done. Try searchng "NAV update" to see if anyone has done it.
