06 M45 Fuel Filter???

Just curious if my 06 M45 has a fuel filter???

Ive read all the maintenance books from Infiniti regarding scheduled maintenance, and I dont recall seeing a time frame to change the fuel filter....

Yes, I am pretty sure it does. As I recall, it is inside the fuel tank - near the fuel inlet.

Not sure how easy it is to remove/clean ... the Service Manual may say something about this. Link to it is in my sig.

The fuel filter is a proprietary part of the fuel pump assembly. This item is supposed to be a lifetime component (whatever exactly that means).The only way to change this would be replacing the entire fuel pump assembly as a whole. This item of course is located in the gas tank.Unless your a do it yourselfer, then this would be very costly.Dealer would charge you part $350-$450 (estimated) then the extensive labor amount.This is one of those items that reverts to the saying, "If it aint broke, don't fix it".
