06 m35x front driveshaft issue

My car has 175xxx just wondering do I have to replace the whole assembly or I replace the joint on the transmission end point and if I do have to replace will a drive shaft work from a 09 and up g37x

Our front drive shafts on our awd models do not have serviceable joints. And there is a good chance that the drive shaft could also be damaged. What you can do is order the front axle online from infinitipartsusa.com, or another source for around $550 than buying from the dealer for $900. My M35x has about 105k miles and I just recently changed mine. I am going to write it up in another thread soon.
