Okay so this is weird, but I was using tiptronic to use compression to slow down since my brakes in my car were really bad and I was going to the shop. My engine temp went up, about 1/4 below the H, it was still in the dotted temp and didn't get to the H.

Then I was like okay, that never happened before no matter how I drove, and then my temps went down. Then about 3 days later, sitting in idle with the ac on, the temps went up again. I turned the ac off and gave the car some gas, and then it went back down to the middle. It's been a week where the temps have been normal, and I noticed shifting from first to second, giving it gas during the transmission shifting to 2nd, I could feel a vibration, or like a small little shake somewhere. Then I resetted the ecu by doing the cel blinking process, and then it shifted fine, but i put it in tiptronic while in 2nd gear, and downshifted, and it made a knock noise.

I want to get my transmission flushed and drain at the infiniti dealership. I have 105k miles on the car. Antifreeze and everything is all at the right levels, same as engine oil. I feel like the transmission some how is really low on oil somehow or something. What do you guys think?

Not sure what it may be but that's why I serviced my transmission and coolant at 60k miles... I'm at 74,xxx now and plan on doing it again at 90k!!! Good luck and to others, let it be a lesson!! :gotme
