06 m35x About to replace suspension - Need clarification

Hello All,
I've done a lot of reading about this issue and feel ready to my purchase. Can you tell me if I have the right items to accomplish this mission or if there is anything else I need?
My goal is a stock like smoothness.

Is there a spring that gives the stock like ride with a small drop. I had the Tien springs (green ones) and could feel every pebble in the road.

I think I may be the "someone" that you were referring to.

The fronts and the mounts are the exact same ones that I installed almost exactly 3 years (60,000 miles) ago, and I would do the same today, if I had to (which, thankfully, I don't). I kept the stock springs, so can't comment on alternatives.

I have not replaced the rears, but probably should, so please report back on how that goes.

In terms of additional items, I would definitely do sway bar end links and sway bar bushings...Once you have it all apart, only takes a little more work to get that done.

The only other item that I tackled was the passenger front lower control arm. The ball joint went bad, and I was getting a light clunking sound that was driving me crazy, but that was more involved/expensive.

Hi guys

I have sport m35 also wanted to keep stock. Having squeaking noises and boaty ride (120k miles). I'm wondering do we have to change our stock springs? I just want it to be not boaty and have smooth ride without feeling every pothole. it seems that there is no rear sport option I can find so I will go with KYBs all around (349053, 341441, 341442), change stabilizer bars links with bushings, new shock and strut mounts.
in addition my friend looked at my suspension and suggested to change:
2x 551A0-EG000 Lateral Arm; Rear; M35, M45
2x 55110-EG000 Radius Arm; Rear; M35, M45

Now I'll just need to search the site on how-to, so I can do it all myself if possible.

i have the 06 M35x model and i went with OEM front KYB rear the first time i refresh my suspension. on the second time, i went with KYB front and rear. i had to replace the rubber bump stop for the front because it was squeaking like hell. i went with monroe kit but i can only use the rubber part not the entire assembly.

the front KYB will be shorter than OEM therefore you will need to compensate with other aftermarket parts to keep the alignment consistent. I didn't and the inner part of both sides on the front tires are worn. just want to share my experience so you and others can make an intelligence decision.

@cruzad3r or anyone else. Could you tell me what other aftermarket parts would be needed if I install front KYB struts? This post is the first I'm seeing that references needing any additional parts when using front KYB struts and I will be replacing all my struts very soon.

What Cruzad3r is probably talking about is the negative camber he experienced due to the shorter shock and spring. The front shocks now sit lower than the OEM shocks and that angles the wheels inward toward the wheel well. Not sure about the rear shocks. But to correct the negative camber you will need a camber kit, I installed the SPC Camber Kit and I know a few others have also to correct the camber. I think there might be a thread or two on the subject. I think someone from this forum had them for sale.
