Does this M35 have a lock up torque converter? It feels like it's missing over drive. If so is there a fuse or a circuir breaker to check & where would I find it?

A torque converter and overdrive aren't the same thing. Yes it has a torque converter. 2000 RPM @ 55MPH in 5th gear is normal for this car.

I know they are not the same. My question is does this model have a lock up style converter & how/where do I check the fuse or breaker.

It does have a torque converter, I believe it kicks in at 63 MPH in drive. I don't know about the style/fuse but hopefully someone else can help with that.
