I want to replace the headlight bulbs with an aftermarket hid kit/bulb. I am having trouble getting to the low beam bulbs. Any suggestions??

easiest thing is to remove part of the bumper and remove the headlights so you make sure not to touch bulbs when putting in an out...just a safety precaution...

Here are the instructions from the Service Manual. You need to remove the Front Fender Protector and this will give you access to the low beam bulbs (click the images below to get the higher-resolution pictures):

I appreciate the help and manual. I was able to get to the bulbs but the HID bulb with the rubber wiring was too big for the clamp to hold on...still trying to think of some ideas. Any ideas?? thanks

Just purchased exactmats today for the m35 at the dealership for $65. I recommend it for the winter season to keep the carpet mats clean.
