 I'm new to this forum I just have a few questions to ask you guys. Thanks for the ears. I have a 06 G35 sport sedan with 287,000 fun miles on it. Still looks new and powerful too. I'm having an engine problem. Car hasn't ever missed a beat until about a week ago. Drove about 6 miles up the road shut off visited for about 15 minutes and when I started her back we had a dead miss. I haven't investigated yet but it is embarrassing lol. Also my gas gauge just completely fell below empty and won't move. Never has registered right but never dropped. And last the manual shift side of the console shift works sometimes and then the next time it might not. Sometimes talking a moment for the dash to switch back to auto emblem. Thank You for any help. The car is awesome just hope she'll hang on. Lol

First thing you need to do is pull codes. It sounds like you're having multiple electrical issues. Your local autoparts store may have a obd2 scan tool to help you start getting some codes and pointed in the right direction.

Yep, get yourself a OBD2 scanner (they're cheap on Amazon, screw going to a parts store).

I'm gonna suspect a grounding issue. What part of the country do you live in?
