06 FX35 Starter location

Hey guys can anybody help me out with this. My starter died on the parking lot and im trying to find it so i can hit with the hammer maybe ill start so i can take it to my mechanic but no luck so far.

The old "hit it with a hammer" won't work on your FX (or any modern car, for that matter).

How can you be sure it's the starter? I'd bet a paycheck it's something else - if you want help fixing it, we need to know the symptoms of what's going on with your ride!
