I just bought an 06 fx35, 41k miles. The first owner didn't change the oil so much. I have the full report. It seems like he noticed smoke, he replaced oil and infiniti found some sludge. Now it burns oil and there are 2 records about the smoking.

Do you think i'll have to change the engine?? I should pay for it if i need it, because the warranty won't cover it

Amazing that all Nissan requires of owner is to change oil every 180 days and undereducated or pennypinching owners won't even do that.

Why you MUST examine records and make sure any supposed under warranty vehicle actually is and not in default.

OFF TOPIC but useful:Kind of like the realization that all these years you have NOT been taking adequate vitamin D3 [a hormone] which controls over 2000 genes. Your body has been on the ragged edge of failing and you didn't have a clue.Makes you wonder if physicans and drug companies actually care about individuals. Too many well people is bad for business and repaying college loans.................10,000 IU/day is what lifeguards produce fronm sun exposure, after 50 your skin no longer makes the conversion and prior to that age any sunscreen stops the production. You would have to drink 10 gallons of fortified milk to reach a decent level.

A used engine means you are buying someone else's problem. At least get that one documented before you install it.
