'06 atlanta nopi from nashville

ok guys...this is my first post and it may be a bit early, but i would like to get as many of you as possible. if there is anybody from the nashville area going to nopi in atlanta sept 16-17, i think itd be cool to meet up and cruise down together. also if anyone is coming from anywhere else and is passng through nashville, we could make it an even bigger cruise! i am planning on leaving nashville on the 15 and get there sometime later that night, so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions let me know!

Welcome! I lived in Hendersonville, TN for about 2 years!

It's never too early to plan for the NICO Nationals...I mean the NOPI Nationals. I'll be coming down from Hopkinville, Ky. Probably driving down sometime friday aswell!

maxhopper97 will probably round a few folks up from Louisville, KY too.

One thing I know will not happen this year, is me driving solo to this event.

thanks for the responses guys!! i got a few guys that are going from around my neighborhood and work and we could meet up with ya'll as you come through nashville. I-65 runs right past my house!! anyways...nismokey - i went to ya'lls meet at oprymills this year! if you look at the pics of the cruise i was the 3rd car behind JLTIBBS! im also originally from louisville, but have lived here about 15 yrs now. anyways, ill gather up my friends and ill look to hear from ya'll as to what to do next! lets try to get as many people as possible! also, would it be easiest if we all got the same hotel??

That would be great if we could get a good caravan going to ATLANTA! We'll definitely plan for that!

any new news or possible plans about the caravan??? the bigger the better!! keep me updated!! i have a pretty good meeting spot that would be great. if your on i-65 south, its the goodlettsville exit. there are several fast foods (mcdonalds, wendys, arbys, krystals) and theres a k-mart right off the exit with a nice parking lot that is very rarely full so we could use that to gather up and then head out right back on the interstate. let me know if you guys have any other ideas!!

I would caravan down with some folks but the group I go down with all leave on Thursday so we aren't rushed for show on the weekend. It allows for Friday to be a fairly stress free day.

well guys, im planning on leaving early friday morning and maybe stopping to get lunch on the way depending on everyone else. lunch might be a good opportunity for a rest to gas-up and stretch for a bit. i would like to leave no later than 10 am though if at all possible. just let me know if this sounds ok to everyone. people driving down from louisville might not be able to make it by then, so just let me know what time you think you'll be down here and we'll try to organize as many people as possible. we need to show some force!!!
