06 Altima Headlight replacement

I need some help in replacing the headlights on my 06 Altima--I dont want to take it into the dealership to do this as the owner manual states. Could someone please provide me the information on how to replace the headlights--I am wanting to replace the factory headlights with HID---thanks!
