06 Altima Airbag Removal

Hey just wondering how to remove the airbag from my 2006 Altima I wanted to paint the 3 parts of the streeing wheel ( silver parts ) seen how the plastic silver part is underneath the airbag but not to sure how to or even if I have to remove it .
