So before this car was mine, it was my sisters. She wasn't good at keeping up with changing the oil on time. I was the one that actually took it to get the oil changes. It's first oil change was at 6k, second 12k, then finally third at 18k. All those changes were done at jiffy lube with the mid-grade pennzoil oil. The last time it was changed at 21k was by me with the castrol syntec full synthetic. Now I notice when i'm driving and let off the gas it's kinda ruff when it drops down in gear, then when i accelerate it's the same thing. it's not like a huge ruff shift but I don't like the feeling of it. I was just wondering if it's from the lack of oil changes because I'm sure that doesn't help. Also if I could do anything to help it. I have to change the oil in about 400 miles. I'm wondering if i can flush it or do anything that might help.

The qr25 is not the smoothest running motor at all times (a lot better than the older ka24 found in the older altimas and trucks). Check with a dealership to see if there are any open recalls on your car. More than likely you won't have a sludging probelm yet, but the dealer might be able to recommend some oil treatment, but i don't think by the description you have a problem (tough to diagnose typing on a keyboard) sounds like the car is still under warranty, just bring it in and have them check it out.
