Techies! Chime IN!

(FYI...on the fence about rebuilding my 03 or just getting a low mile 06ish, any input on that topic would be appreciated as well!)

Go for the low mile 06. The manual transmission went through five or six upgrades throught the few years it was out.

Rebuilding these is not hard but the parts needed outweigh the cost of a new (ish) unit. The tools and press and time required for this are just not worth it unless you are going to some kind of extreme race build but the transmissions can take a fair amount of power for the cost.

....btw. will this fit my car (03)? saying 05-07 in item description...but i'm guessin 03-07 (early 07) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...#shId

I totally thought you had gone FI, since you have cams and a few other goodies.
