06-07 M owners I found the mesh grille

I should have mine in a week or so. Here is a teaser pic of what it looks likeIts made by JDM. Cost is around $200 shipped.

me no likey............that's just my opinion though...........i just think that mesh grills just don't fit on this car......i will continue to broadcast this grill though as i think it makes the car look more aggressive....

Thats the OEM with just a nissan badge. But that only looks good if you get a bumper like that. With the OEM mesh foglight covers I think the mesh will fit so perfect. I have a few tricks Im going to do to mine once I get it fitted.

i ordered the mesh grill too.

I also have a brand new billet grill sitting in the box.

I think the mesh will work because the lower grill on the 06 is mesh.

However i do think the head lights need to be black to tie it all together. Ill post picks of mine when its done.

My point...I have the sport headlights too. I think will make the front complete. I just addded the clear taillights. I want a color match on those. Ill post when complete for sure. Did you go ebay or website? Seems to be few bucks cheaper Ebay.

I would like to see it installed. There is a OEM black grill available but you still have the chrome "plastic" trim piece on the hood above the grill and the surround piece is chrome. Has anyone ever tried to paint the chrome plastic trim in flat black?

Why flat black? Wouldn't it be way better to color match it with the black color of the car? You can call up your Infiniti dealer and they will tell you the color codes for the paint.

Amazing that you found this part. I have been looking for a mesh grill for 06/07 M for a year. Do you know what part of the grill will be visible? Is that trim piece on top and bottom hidden when installed? Is the mesh itself metal, could it be chromed?Post pictures of install and install process details?

seems like a few of the people whom ordered this piece indicate that the mesh is plastic/cheap feeling. they cut it out and replaced with metal mesh.

i'm curious to see how things go with this. i looked at a few of the auctions- seller says from canada, but if you read the itrader, seems like all the pieces are shipped from china.

Im going to stay with the plastic mesh if it is. The metal will chip if painted black. Im sure its a nice piece from JDM. Yes its in China for sure. Thats where I found it.

cant wait to see how they look on the car. i've been looking for a mesh grille for a while.

plastic mesh might be better when it comes to matching the lower bumper mesh/ plastic stuff that's black. I too have the sport headlights and IMO it should look good.

Looking forward to pics as well. I'm deciding between the mesh grill or just painting it. I agree with the post above about the flat black....think that will look better than a color match with the car. The grill shouldnt blend in with the rest of the car.

I was thinking the same thing but im kinda scared to paint it b/c if it looks s***ty then ur kinda s.o.l. Im about to get some sort of black grille, black the lip on my wheels, and black the tails.

They are on ebay now. Google JDM mesh grille and the sellers site comes up. They are a few bucks cheaper on ebay. Same seller.

Got mine in today. Ill do a test fit and upload pic. later on tonight. I was gonna take this chance to take some snap shots of the car but the weather is not holding up.
