Tested a '05 Premium Q45 today and the car seemed to have a very 'touchy' accelerator pedal. The slightest pressure and the car leaped away. Quite different than my '96Q.Is this able to be ajusted. The '05 had only 23k miles on it and the history showed no previous customer complaints.

Don't worry, you'll get used to it. The '05 Q, of which I have one, is pretty spirited off the line, and takes some modulation to do smoothly. Before long though, you'll have it down pat, and in fact, will enjoy the quick throttle response. Enjoy your new Q. It's a GREAT car.

I don't know about the accelerator pedal of the 05 Q, but I can tell you that the pedal of the 07 G35 that I got for my wife would make me laugh. The slightest touch would make the car go like a rocket. The first few times, it was like I was racing the people around me. It took a lot of getting used to.
