Yes nissan is developing a nismo intake for it. Exhuast I dont know yet.
This all depends on how long you plan to keep the truck. I know you held on to your old max for some time. So if you plan to keep this thing for longer then the standard warranty yes I advise you to get it. It is well worth the cost with the price of replacement parts and labor rates these days. Another thing is nissan does not cover rental cars on the standard warranty, they do however cover them on the extended service contracts. So say you go in for a repair right now and you are still with in the standard warranty milage. The extended service contract will pick up the rental car fees should you car have to stay at the shop till a part arrives. The standard warranty wont do that. There are several levels of extended warranties, the biggest difference you will notice is deductable charge. When you are using the contrat for any repairs you have to pay a deductable on any part of the contract [this includeds the rental charge in the instance I just mentioned] I think one of the plans is 0 deductale. This is the most pricey plan though. When picking your plan there is a little fact you need to take into consideration. If you take your car in for repairs after you have exceeded you standard warranty and say you have 3 problems that are covered under the plan. And say your deductable is $50. Thats not $50 for the visit, thats $50 for each repair. so you end up paying $150 for that visit. Keep that in mind when picking a plan. There are other differences ,like whats covered and such but most look at the out of pocket expense just for driving in to the service drive first.
Believe it or not service does not deal with the contracts when their sold, that is all done through finance. So I can not even tell you exactly how much the plans are. So I cant tell you if there are any deals on them. I would think that the best deal if there was one to be had would be buying it when you purchase the vehicle but again not sure about that.
