05' Stillen sway bar almost kills me

I had an 2005 2.5 SL altima with a Stillen lower-rear-sway-bar. I had it inspected every two months or so because when it was installed, it had a clearance issue with the tie rods. The installer told me it was minor, and would probably work itself out. Long story short, the tie rod on the drivers side snapped as I was going 60 down the freeway. The wheel/tire went bonkers, I lost control and hit the center divider. It sent three people to the emergency room. My car was totaled. I have bills piling up. I have pics of it if interested. I have not told Stillen yet . Anyone else have a similar experience or hear of anything like this. Get back to me. Drive safe out there.

DO NOT INSTALL A STILLEN LOWER REAR SWAY BAR ON ANY 03-05 NISSAN ALTIMA 4 DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OR RISK DEATH!!!!

Fat Rat put it in. Can't really say who's fault it was. I totaled it the day after I graduated from HSU.

I'm ready to act when I find the responsible party. I think Stillen sent me an 04' sway bar for the 05' I'm sure they would like to know. Somone should burn for this F*** up.

Just remember, it could've ended much worse than it did so show no mercy. I would call Stillen's management and report this. Do it as soon as possible and don't delay.

Whoa! That's scary! At least you and your passengers are still breathing. I've always had confidence in Stillen components, but this makes me take a step back. I hope you still have all documentation of your purchase. Keep us updated.
