05 Sedan Headlight Swap On 03 Coupe

ok i got an entire headlight setup off a friend of mine's sedan mainly because they came with factory HID while the 03's don't thinking that the headlights could just swap in only to find out they wouldn't fit *sigh* so my next step is to swap the ballast and the bulbs but before i do that i was wondering if anyone has any experience in this idea (basically has anyone done this before) before i go out and buy a new set of headlights preferably halos+HID

Just add the kit to the 03 lights.

ok that sounds like a better plan but i have one question..... what are the bulb types?? (high beam / low beam)

Low beam bulbs. You can do high beam HID, but we are talking about a bit more work.

I've been seeing D2R & D2RS bulbs or something like that is the type of bulbe the G's come with factory

that d2r you're seeing is the factory HID bulb. I have heard about/seen g35's with no hid's from the factory. I've also seen some g's with no leather...so i guess at one point in time they have a lower model g35...

if you have an '03 g35 sedan with the halogen capsule headlights then you're bulb size is H1..high beams are HB2
