Hey, thanks for the advice... I'm gonna come right out and say I'm not very familuar with all the trans types & what not... is an A34 out of a maxima? .. Wouldnt the drive axles need lengthened/ shortened? Idk, I'm a body guy & painter.. little mechanical terminalogy that I know. . So I will take any & all advice with arms wide open! Thanks.. look forward to hearing back.

The SER shares the same engine, transmission, axles, and a boat load of other parts with the Maxima which has the chassis code A34 (2004-08). The only difference is that some of the manual transmissions made from 2004-06 were available with an LSD.

btw..

RS6F51A - open differential
RS6F51H - limited slip differential

Either will work but a lot more people are hunting down a smaller number of LSD equipped transmissions.
