05 Pathfinder SE navigation not working

Howdy folks! New guy here. I am in need of some help with my navigation system. it was working just fine when I bought the truck a little over a year ago. Approximately 4 months ago i was cleaning the car out and I accidentally hit the eject button on the NAV DVD-ROM drive under the passenger seat but the disc never came out. Now when I start the car or try to use the nav the screen says "disc error". anybody got any ideas? I tried to use the search function on this page but i could not find the answer i needed! Thanks in advance for any help and for taking the time to read this!

Have you checked the connections to ensure nothing's jostled loose?

Sorry about the duplicate. I was just trying to get as many eyes as possible on the problem as we are leaving for an 110 mile one way trip next week.

I have not checked the connection. I will check it when the wife gets home from work.
