My 05 (I bought new January of 06) has a buzzing/vibrating noise as my speed increases.. Sounds like my hub bearing(s) might be going bad.. Shocking, the truck only has 39,000 miles!
Is this common problem for Pathfinders?

2005 with bad bearings is not common, front wheel bearings should last a long time unless you are off roading fjord driving or just being a real hard driver.

Wheel bearings generally don't buzz but growl, thump grind with a cadence to match road speed.

Try raising the front and do a 6-12 and 3-9 shake to see if something loose.

A buzz or click can come from links.

A buzz could be braking problems, loose rad or oil cooler lines, an exhaust leak, a buzz needs to be qualified, it is a too general description for me.

A buzz is a higher frequency vibration, is that what you mean?

Sounds and feels like if you drift out of your lane and you run over those shoulder grooves..
The faster I go, the louder it gets.. I did shake the wheel up/down/side/side and both wheels are solid.
And while driving, if I crank the wheel from left to right, the sound does not change.. normally if the bearings are bad you would get a louder grind as the car shifts from side to side.
I'm confused.. I need to take it in and get a pro's opinion :ohno:

Well, I rotated the tires from front to rear and now the vibration/noise is coming from the rear.. Looks like it's in my tires
