Use the OEM fluid ALWAYS and have it done with a BG machine or else drain and refill if you can.

Use Nissan Matic-J

If you just drain/fill you'll only get out about 4-5 quarts from the oil pan.

I would recommend disconnecting the rubber lines that go into the radiator where the transmission oil cooler is located. Remove those and let them drain. You'll get out about another 1.5-2 quarts. That will remove about 1/2 of the overall fluid.

Additionally, you can remove just 1 of those and start your car with it in P (park) and it will pump out fluid. Make sure you keep the oil pan full of fresh new fluid. This is the best way to remove old fluid/pump new fluid in yourself.

A full fluid exchange would require around 14 quarts. (capacity is around 11.8 qt)

Maybe you drain the oil from the pan. Add new fluid. Remove cooler hose. Drain. Turn car on for 5-10 sec. add new fluid. Turn car on for 5-10 sec. Replace fluid. Repeat this process until the fluid coming out is much cleaner.
