05 g35 6mt, rev light?

when im driving anywhere in my car, before i shift the rev shift light comes on at like 3000 rpms, i dont have the car manual? anyone know how to adjust?

You can adjust the REV light by playing with the swith that resets your Odomoeter. It will give you the option as you cycle through it. Reset, Trip, REV light (maybe not in that specific order)

Just hold the trip button down for a few seconds. You'll see a flashing number that corrisponds to the RPM you want the REV light to come on. Simply push the button to change the number to what you want.

the REV light is always on. your talking about the shift light right, the one that comes on under the REV light. yea just cycle through with the trip reset by holding and set the rpm you want the light to come on.

What they said. Once you get to the rev setting with the trip odometer button, you push in and hold it. It will move in 500RPM increments if you hold it in, or dab it to move in 100RPM increments. Goes back to 3000 after you get to 8000.
