05 frontier, what gearbox code (5 speed manual)

Im just curious as to what 5 speed nissan is still using for their base model 4 cylinder frontier. Im also wondering if the engine block is the same as the sentras QR25.

I have no idea if anyone even has access to that kind of info yet

Sorry man didnt see your original post. I can try to get that info today. I know what your thinking. I thought of that some time ago. But with an adapter plate dont you think the 6spd would be better?? I have one out of a Z I am going to try to mate to the QR.

so right this down ca,sr,ka,all use the same transfer?

No nissan has not changed the trans matt its still the FS5R30A 5spd trans. Same one they used way back in the D21 hardbody.
