Drove the Nismo Frontier today...250% better truck then the 04 I have. The truck comes with 265 naturally aspirated HP from a way better V6. IIRC they went up to a 4.0. The truck drives well and has plenty of low end torque to pull just about anything a mid size truck would want to.

I drove the top of the line model and it was $27,000 from the dealer. Which here in Tucson usually means 3 grand more expensive then most other places.

So 2 thumbs up for the new Frontier. Nissan did a really good job this time. I'd take this over the Tacoma anyday.

Same engine is in the 05' XTerra, I drove one on Sunday since we're thinking about adding one to the fleet of Nissans (84' 300ZX, 97 Q45, and 99 Sentra, 85' Maxima finally died at 293k with broken timing belt). This engine is so sweet, I drove an Xterra in 2003 and was not impressed but this has GRUNT, beauty engine for sure.

Whats the power output of the Tacoma? Is it a better truck than say the F-150 Harley Edition? Is there a SC option for it like the Tacoma? Whats the interior like, cheap plastic, bottons that break easily? How are the blind spots? Whats the ride like? Whats the acceleraltion like? Did you drive the auto or manual? Sorry for all the questions Im thinking about getting one myself. I dropped into the local Nissan dealer but they didnt have a Nismo KingCab 4x4 in stick I could test drive...
