So I saw the thread about using Z shocks on the Q.. I did some research on the Z's rear suspension on Nissan estore and compared the rear suspension on the Q on Infiniti estore. The schematics and photo cross sections with individual part numbers are exactly the same, if not exact; 99%.. Since Nissan was going into the Nissan Revival Plan with Renault, I am wondering if they tried to save a few pennies and just used the rear wheel drive, powerful sports car that they already spent all that time and money producing, and just put it in the Q. There are several things I noticed they carried over from the Nissan Cima and President; Our Q.. these rear suspensions on both these cars even have the same part numbers.. Funny thing is Infiniti charges 350 for shocks or you can get the ones for the Z at Nissan dealer and pay 188.. hmm.. the frame, control arms, platforms, all the same..
