Ok so my wife and I decided to go to the beach the other night and...

Anyways, on our way home we pulled over to get some rest because it's a long drive from our house to the beach and we realized how limited the seat's ability to recline is.

I am very serious about this. Is there any way to increase the range of motion of the seats?

On my I30, you can make the seat completely flat. On the wife's Celica, the damned seat will invert and go beyond flat.

I don't like being limited to 120 degrees if I want to take a nap on a long trip.

We went all the way to Dana Point.

I'm a born and bred Californian. Driving is a part of our lives.

My wife and I left after traffic let up in the evening. I think I drove around 150 miles round trip.

It's one of our favorite things to do as we used to go to the beach at night as friends before we started going out.

I hear ya man. I used to live in Cali, and you GOTTA go to the beach whenever possible. And YES, driving is part of life in California.

My guess to your question, is that the only way to make the seats recline more is to switch out the sprocket that it is attached to, unless its a motor limit issue...

I'll have to probably just take apart the seats, but if anyone has any idea how these work, please chime in!!!
