05 Armada Aftermarket Radio and Dual Climate controls

So I recently installed a double din radio head in my wife's Armada. Hers is the model with Bose stereo, navigation system, and Dual climate controls.
Well, her navigation system took a crap, so I figured it would be a good time to replace the head unit. The radio works well, but now (as predicted) I don't really have climate control. Has anyone been able to fix this? What was the process? Surely it can't be as easy as replacing the controls with a manual control unit can it?

Could be. I just looked at a few head units for a '05 Armada at crutchfield.com and they all indicated the installation package only works in vehicles with manual heater controls and that you'll need to remove the climate controls from your dash and attach them to the included dash panel in their installation kit. Crutchfield has a very good menu for selecting all the components you'll need for specific year, make, and model vehicles. I hope this helps at least a little.
