im trying to get the rear brake calipers off my 05 altima se. they seem to be on there pretty good. the bolts holding on the calipers don't seem to want to budge. i have tried PB blaster and still no luck. not even an air rachet worked. any suggestions? i have done the brakes on my 02 maxima and didnt have this problem at all.

choices...

cheater bar
bigger guy
buy a impact wrench

and when you get this job done... take it to whoever put them on and kick them in the nuts, i had a tire shop do this to some lug nuts, getting the off was the first time ive ever busted a snap-on socket, im suprised the lug nut didnt bust too. thats what i get for taking my car to a no-name tire shop...

Yes you have to change your brake pad as quick as possible before it causes major damage to your metal disc. But the price what he has quoted is expansive. $ 350 should be alright for the good breaking pad including the the labor cost.
