05 Altima 3.5 Rev Limiter

05 Altima 3.5 Rev Limiter
I've been trying to find someone in the US that can remove my automatic transmission rev limiter. I can get up to 130 mph. Any suggestions?

is it a rev limiter or a speed cut?
if you are at redline in top gear i'm not sure you want to go any higher....
however, if all that happens is there is a wicked fuel cut and you arent at redline i can offer a few solutions.
if you posted this in a VQ forum you would probably get a more clear concise answer. I can only offer solutions that apply to most nissans, there is no way i can give you a definite answer, you have to search for yourself, but i can point you in the right direction.
1) you might be able to find some free solution to your problem, but it probably involves unpluging a sensor that will yield some undesirable side effects.
2) ECU reflash, a lot of people can probably do this... well maybe not, if i were looking into this i would contact Jim Wolf Technology and see what they had to say. I'm almost sure they could do it, but it might be a bit on the expensive side if you are only removing a speed cut. You could get a "performance map" and maybe raise your rev limiter and speed cut if you are gonna shell out this much dough
3) HKS speed cut defensor, i'm pretty sure thats the name of this particular product, but i might be confused with fuel cut defensor. this is ognna be cheaper than an entire ECU reflash i imagine. I dont know if it works with the 05 altima though, but a few companies make products like this, you're best to search alot and look around. again i can point you in a direction: http://www.takakaira.co.jp
i wouldn't go over 130 with stock tires and stock suspension and my car is much lighter than yours
