First great forums and site, thanks!!!

05 pathfinder LE, v6 Auto, 2dw. 192k. OG owner.

Transmission starting slipping, didn't know about the cooler issue (Bummer Right), did a fluid change and filter first, drove about 10 miles and then starting slipping/bumping etc, so I pulled it over and called it a day. starting searching realized that the cooler likely failed and new transmission was in my future. Called in tow truck to get to shop, went back to car to meet him and thought I would move car a little bit to allow to truck to get in easier. Car would not start, turn over nothing. Lights on dash "tripping out a bit". tried jump, nothing. They tow to shop and shop calls, they can get it started. They figured the transmission was bad and the neutral switch was likely the culprit.

They dropped transmission, took apart (shop) and sure enough all a mess inside. So I find a place to get it rebuilt completely, valve body, converter etc. to save $1k, I put it back in. Knowing I need to have mobile programmer come out to program new transmission to car. I get everything done and want to load up clean fluid in new transmission, and no start, no turnover, nothing. Lights come on, dash on, the Park/DR/1/2/3 indicator on dash flashes between P and D, won't stop. the "OD" overdrive light blinks steady. So I can't start it up, not sure where to start with this. The code U1000 first came up, but then didn't again. Since I got a completely rebuilt transmission with new valve body/TCM, what can this be. I picked up the valve body from the dealership myself, so I know its good. Any help appreciated!!!

Reading on other sites that the blinking OD light means the transmission is in "safe mode"... It is confused basically...

Many posts said to disconnect both battery cables and touch them together for about 30 minutes to clear the ECU and TCU...

also checked every fuse, triple checked battery and made sure the harness to the transmission was solidly connected.

OK problem solved......So when you think you checked the fuses, CHECK AGAIN!!!! the 10a fuse in the fuse block in by the glove box was bad!! replaced and fired right up. There is another fuse in the engine compartment, that one was fine.

Thanks!
