05-06 supercharged or 07-08 G35x stock, what to buy?

Hey guys, brand new to the forum, fairly new to the G cars. Used to tune a bit with an early-year Eclipse AWD but have grown up and like the G platform for various reasons.
Looking for some input on what used car I should buy. Looking at the G35x only, will either buy a 05-06 and put a supercharger on it for an extra 100hp or will buy a 07-08 and leave it stock, save for a few smaller goodies.
The car won't likely see the track, will be 50/50 city/hwy driven with a road trip once a month or so. I'm not looking to race anyone but do like the feel of a few ponies.

As far as cosmetics go, either vehicle will be getting wheels/tires/understated body kit(maybe just lips?). Being new to the car, I honestly could like either body style just as well. But the newer interior is obviously much nicer.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm too old and no longer have the reflexes to handle it, but I'd love to see what my car would do with forced induction. I think turbo is more favored than super-charging for our cars, but I could be wrong.

From the reading I've done, a turbo kit is costlier and more of an undertaking with these cars than the supercharger. Under-hood heat and more involved install all around. If I were shooting for 500+hp, I'd undoubtedly go with turbo(s) but for what I want, I think the S/C will be better. Anyone else have an opinion other than my newby self?

If you get a boosted car go for a 6-sp and not an automatic. If you do get an automatic then they are good for an estimated 450hp-ish without transmission mods.
