04 Z i want more HP !!!

so i most likely pickin up an 04 Z and i want it a lil quicker i heard the 04s run a 13.77 and i would like to see mid 12s or so whats either some basic mods that will help me get closer? or should i go with a TT kit? and whats a low price for a TT kit for the 350z

you're on the right track, the only way I forsee mid 12's from a z33 short of drastic weight reduction would be forced induction or nitrous, as for kit prices it's been a while since I looked into them but I found anything from $3500 and up, granted that might have been the sc kit I honestly don't remember, I was considering the Z33 but the power was gonna need a boost for sure, the turbo kits are the way to go IMHO, single turbo vs twins each have their strong suits, but most of the kits max out somewhere near 400 whp which should get you where you want, I'd look into kits taht offer potential future growth and tunabulity
