I'm changing the fluid and filter on my daughter's '04 Quest, and I've watched a few youtube videos on it, but they all show a transmission pan on the drivers side with a bolt to drain the pan. I'm looking at a transmission bottom but with no pan, except for a small pan that's on the front side of the transmission, and it's angled up toward the front of the van. And no way will it hold 9 quarts of fluid, I would guess.

Sorry about the crummy pics. I already let the jack down after changing the oil.
When I looked up the VIN info on this van, it shows that it's got a 4 speed transmission. But one video said some of the 'higher end' Quests have a 5 speed. I have all the paperwork for this van except for the window sticker that would say what transmission is in it. So, where's the drain plug on this, or is it a pull-the-pan job? Why doesn't mine have a black pan like I keep seeing on videos of this van? What the heck transmission does it have, anyway? Thanks for any help on this. Lee

Is that allen bolt in the center of the first picture the drain? Sure looks like it could be. I'm so used to having to drop the pan to drain transmission oil, I'm sort of nervous about pulling any bolt until I know for sure it's the right one.

Found it in this torturous video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DGDCS9cIs0. It's an Aisin AF33 5 speed transmission, and the allen head bolt is the drain plug.
