hi every one im currently tdy for the airforce. I live in upstate new york i am intresred in one of the super charged frontiers. I have seen they look nice but i cant seem to get any good feed back on the engine reliability and power just how snappy these trucks are. If its posable to do light boltun mods like raising boost etc with out blowing head gaskets. I dident know if this truck is a good daily driver. If anyone with one could give me some feedback it would be nice to hear from one.

My parents have one and its been trouble free. They probably have close to 100K by now. I've heard you should keep an eye on the knock sensors as they are prone to failure (causes a dramatic loss of power). Not entirely sure about increasing boost, but its a relatively low boost system that I'm told uses the same injectors as the non-S/C version. Peak power is not that great over the non-S/C version, but feels more torquey down low where its needed. Personally, I'd go for one of the newer VQ powered Frontiers. With some 260 HP out of the box, its quite a bit more powerful without any further mods. I haven't driven a newer Frontier but I've heard they drive much nicer. My parent's Frontier is a but rough around the edges.
